It was able to procure a pre-owned tape drive with a warranty at a fraction of the market price. Then, IT Direct installed the tape drive, keeping billable hours well within the client’s budgetary constraints.
Only one month after IT Direct installed the tape drive, the company experienced complete hard drive failure. IT Direct immediately brought over a new hard drive and quickly installed it, salvaging three and a half years of data in only a matter of hours. The company only lost one hour of their workday and the new system was up and running by the time the employees got to work the next morning.
