When does 2+2=5?

When does adding two things together equal more than the sum of their parts? When you can take a few pieces of information, put it together, and come to a conclusion that saves you tons of time or resources! This is one of our very favorite things to do for our clients!

How do we do it?
Sometimes multiple helpdesk calls come in and they seem unrelated and may even be assigned to different techs to solve. They may even be quick issues, like difficulty updating a password, or a pop-up that keeps occurring from time to time for low disk space on a user’s computer. To an outside eye, these issues may seem coincidental or completely unrelated. But, our POD teams get to know our clients so well that they pick up on these seemingly unrelated events and can make changes that save everyone time and energy.

IT Direct Ranks No. 242 Among MSPmentor’s

Top 501 Managed Service Providers

IT Direct ranks among the world’s most progressive 501 Managed Service Providers (MSPs), according to Penton Technology’s 9th-annual MSP 501 list and study. The top MSP 501 companies ranked this year include organizations from around the world and from diverse technology and business backgrounds. Collectively, they amassed $9.82 billion in sales in 2015 and increased their oversight of technology devices to more than 5.6 million.

“To be recognized as one of the leading Managed Service Providers in the world, for the third year in a row, is a great honor,” said founder and President of IT Direct, Ari Santiago. “This award reflects the amazing support we receive from our clients, and the consistent dedication of our employees. We are excited to have surpassed our rankings from last year, and are looking forward to further growth in the years to come.”

“On behalf of Penton and MSPmentor, I would like to congratulate IT Direct for its recognition as an MSP 501 honoree,” said Aldrin Brown, Editor in Chief, MSPmentor. “The managed service provider market is evolving at a rapid pace and the companies showcased on the 2016 MSP 501 list represent the most agile, flexible and innovative organizations in the industry.”

The 2016 MSP 501 list is based on data collected by MSPmentor and its partner, Clarity Channel Advisors. Data was collected online from March through April 2016. The MSP 501 list recognizes top managed service providers based on metrics including recurring revenue, growth and other factors. In addition to a ranking on the MSP 501 list, every company that participated in the study has been assigned a score reflecting its intrinsic value. The measure, known as the Total Service Provider (TSP) score, evaluates an MSP’s mix of revenue from various activities, including consulting, cloud, reselling and managed services.

We are proud to announce that IT Direct has been listed to Inc.’s inaugural 50 Best Workplaces, the first such measurement of American companies with up to 500 employees that deploy state-of-the-art techniques to keep their staff happy and productive.

Working with employee engagement and culture experts Quantum Workplace of Omaha, Nebraska, Inc.’s list is a magnifying glass on how innovative companies can truly raise the bar in hiring and keeping the best talent.

“We are thrilled and honored to have been named one of the 50 Best Workplaces in America.  The work we do and the value we deliver to our clients all starts with the amazing people that make up the IT Direct team, so continually striving to build a place that they are proud to be a part of is critically important.  We look forward to continuing to make our company a wonderful place to work and grow in the months and years ahead.” said founder and President of IT Direct, Ari Santiago.

“We hear it over and over again from the fast-growing businesses we cover: The biggest challenge that any business owner faces is finding and keeping the best people. That’s why building a workplace culture that allows your staff to grow with your company is absolutely crucial,” explains Inc.’s President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “Recipients of the Inc. Best Workplaces Awards have done so in spades. They should be celebrated and emulated.”

The 2016 Inc. Best Workplaces Awards assessed applicants on a collection of multiple choice, scaled, and open-ended items. Responses were evaluated by the research team at Quantum Workplace. Core components of the scoring include company practices around management, employee recognition, performance communication, benefits, and other elements of the employee experience. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent–not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. The minimum revenue required for 2015 is $2 million, in business at least three years, with full time employees count ranging between 5 and 500.

The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. The 2015 Inc. 5000, unveiled online at Inc.com and with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc. Speakers include some of the greatest entrepreneurs of this and past generations, such as Marcus Lemonis, host of the CNBC show “The Profit,” Robert Herjavec, one of the main “sharks” on ABC-TV’s “Shark Tank,” KIND Founder and CEO Daniel Lubetzky, and Co-Founder of Goodshop.com JJ Ramberg.

“This year’s winners are growing faster than the industry average and finding greater success within the SMB,” said Lawrence M. Walsh, CEO and chief analyst of The 2112 Group. “The SMB 500 shows how consistent execution and collaboration with strategic alliance partners such as Ingram Micro can and will result in accelerated growth, performance and business agility.”
