Help Desk
Help Desk Technician Responsibilities:
Assist in serving the Information Technology consulting, network design, and support outsourcing needs of small and medium size (25-500 employees) businesses and non-profit organizations.
An appropriate candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- 1+ year recent, relevant experience in a helpdesk role providing PC support;
- Or recent relevant degree or technical school certificate
- Preferred Certifications: A+; Network+, Windows Desktop
- Preferred Work Experience: Managed Service Provider or Consulting environment
- Preferred Systems Experience; ConnectWise, LabTech
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to effectively communicate both written & verbally
- Desire to grow personally as well as professionally
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and growing organization
- Desire to work in a Fun environment
Once hired, the successful candidate will be expected to:
- Troubleshoot hardware problems on desktop computers;
- Install and configure desktop operating systems
- Work collaboratively with IT Direct’s existing support team;
- Be able to troubleshoot routine desktop/laptop and basic network problems;
- Be able to work with and provide basic support for Mac laptops and desktops;
- Be able to troubleshoot routine smart phone and tablet problems;
- Quickly learn new software products;
- Administer basic network devices, and hardware print servers
